St Andre High Announces Honor Roles for 1968 Graduation
St Andre's High School unveiled its graduation honors with Miss Betty Bergeron named first honor essayist and valedictorian Miss Rita Bellefeuille. Second honor essayist is Miss Paula Martel and salutatorian is Miss Cecile Gagne. Bergeron, 18, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Bergeron of Biddeford, has led the honor roll for four years and held multiple student leadership roles. Martel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Martel, is school president and active in Student Council, Glee Club, and CCD. Gagne and others are also noted for long service and scholastic achievement.

American tanks and armored carriers moved to cut off Viet Cong assaults on Saigon in the third day of fighting. About 35 enemy soldiers were killed, five Americans wounded, as U.S. and South Vietnamese forces cornered Viet Cong near the Kinh Doi Canal and at a western Saigon factory.
