Fireman Hurt In Boatyard Blaze In Biddeford

A Biddeford firefighter was hospitalized after a warehouse blaze at Marblehead Boat Yard on Marblehead Lane. Capt. Reynald Madore fell through boards and was wedged at the waist, treated at Webster Hospital. Losses estimated to run up to 100000 dollars as firemen from nine communities battled flames until 4 a.m. The mill structure was saved while nearby homes were threatened and boats up to 85 feet long had been built at the yard, now owned by Wasserman Development Corp of Cambridge.
