Lions Collect Packaged Candy For Children
Members of the Biddeford Lions club collected and delivered candy for local children. Larry Cote donated 300 pounds to the club, 150 pounds went to the Biddeford Police Department for distribution, and 150 pounds to the Sweetser Children's Home. The next club meeting is Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Sandwich Shop on Main Street.

Portland Museum of Art catalogs Maine crafts exhibit
The Portland Museum of Art opens its annual juried show of Maine crafts in ceramics, metalwork, and textiles. Among 23 contributing artisans are Marjorie Ciullo, Barbara Altenburg, Dahlov Spear, Jo an Moshiner, and Gary Beckwith. The exhibit runs through April 21 and travels to Boston in May to the Society of Arts and Crafts.
