Fire destroys OOB tailors home on Imperial Street
In Old Orchard Beach an oil stove exploded at about 12:30 p.m. destroying the home of 85 year old Charles Cosmids known as Charlie the Tailor at 8 Imperial St. Cosmids was at a nearby restaurant during the blast. The un insured, two-fire history building left only a corner room with three sewing machines intact. Town officials will seek housing for Cosmids.
