Loose knit antiwar group linked to McCarthy support
A Biddeford St Francis College faculty member leads a loosely organized antiwar group with no roster or dues. It includes some local residents and no students, has no concrete plans to back McCarthy at the state convention, and remains autonomous from a larger state coalition. The group plans ads and Vietnam activism, and Wagner, a Long Island native teaching in Biddeford since 1965, attended the local caucus as an alternate to the state convention.
