Celena Corbin was toasted at the Elms nursing home in Old Orchard Beach on her 96th birthday. Relatives, friends, and other residents gathered for a family party with cake, cards, and gifts as the guest of honor, who moved to the Elms in 1941 after a move from Fort Kent and the death of her husband George. She heads a large family with seven children, 58 grandchildren, 95 great grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren, and serves as godmother to Cathleen Fiske.
Mrs. Dorothy Carter R N selected to replace Mrs. Car lene Ehrenberg as staff nurse with the Saco Public Health nursing association. She will begin March 5 and is a resident of Hearn road, Saco. Carter trained at Boston Lying-In and graduated from St Barnabas hospital in Boston after private duty work.
