Recreation Program Expanded In Kennebunk
Kennebunk's recreation commission appointed Stephen D. Austin as director and Betsy Hunt as co director for a summer through October program. Activities serve ages five through 12 with separate arts crafts and sports sessions plus a Junior High program. Lifeguards will staff Kennebunk and Goodies beaches daily 9 am to 5 pm.

Two divorces were granted in 10th District Court Saco by Judge Simon Spill for cruel and abusive treatment. Laura Reed of Old Orchard Beach was divorced from George Reed of Coventry CT. they married in 1969 and have no children. Laura Anderson was granted a divorce from Caryle Crowley of Saco and they married in 1964. they have two children and child support and alimony were set. Margaret Henri of Saco was divorced from Robert Henri of Portland. they married in 1965 and have one child. court ordered child support and alimony along with counsel fees.

Attempted Theft Charges Continued In Saco Court

Roll A Way Teens Square Dance Club sponsored by the Saco Recreation Commission will hold a square dance marathon July 1 from noon to 8 p.m. at Fairfield School in Saco with no admission charge. Airline Passenger Miles Rise in First Quarter 1971
Twenty three U S airlines flew 33.9 billion revenue passenger miles in scheduled domestic and international service. This was up 29.5 billion flown in the first three months of 1971. The passenger load factor rose to 48.7 percent from 44.3 percent a year earlier.
