Wells School Board Grants Use of New Wells Gym
At a Wells meeting the Wells Chamber of Commerce gained permission to use the new gym auditorium for an area information meeting on July 9. The Wells Corner Hose Company may use part of the Wells High School athletic field for a small circus. The board approved roof repairs at Wells Elementary by custodial staff and removal of two pine trees behind the new Junior High. Joanne Williams was approved to teach Grade 5 at Wells Elementary for 4200 dollars. The board also voted to pay twenty five dollars to each of the listed teachers for instruction.
