NBA Chiefs Seek Unity Against Players Over Reserve System
National Basketball Association owners and Commissioner Lawrence O'Brien aimed to restore unity after a tense meeting in San Francisco. While no immediate lawsuits followed penalties against Atlanta and New York, clubs worry about potential losses if players win, and both sides seek a negotiated labor agreement within the looming legal battles.
