Ocean Park shifts into summer mode with expanded family oriented facilities. Agnes L. Park Recreation on Colby Avenue, run by Norman E. Bowie, will offer regular games and Sunday devotionals for youth, plus social events for adults. Temple Avenue tennis courts are being resurfaced while the Memorial Library and Turner Historic Room at Furber Park stay open daily after hours with Ruth Y. Conley as librarian. The Temple Auditorium hosts almost daily programs under Adelbert M. Jakeman, with 24 family films, concerts, and lectures planned. Seven shuffleboards run by the Florida Club, and the Willard L. Pratt Swimming Pool, owned by Royal Ambassador Boys Camp, will serve campers and Ocean Park residents with improved facilities for 1964.
