Explosion Injures Two on Sanford Tar Truck
A State Highway Department tar truck exploded in a sand pit near Sanford injuring two workers. Verne L. Rendell of Berwick, 57, suffered a probable fractured skull and serious injuries, while Donald Smith, 30, of York, had shoulder and back injuries. Rendell was critically hurt. Storms Strip Wide Area From Texas To Great Lakes
