Biddeford police report a $50 TV stolen from Leif Gustafson at 76 Birch St. A wallet was taken from a car at St Francis College, Villa Victoria Elm Street, Thursday at 8 40 p m. A $700 water pump was stolen from the Biddeford turnpike exit. Old Orchard Beach firefighters responded to trash barrel fire near Emersons Candy Store and a town dump blaze. A false alarm at Birch and Foss streets prompted concern over frequent calls. Eight year old Neal Tallant was struck by a car on Smithwheel Road near his home and treated at Webber Hospital.
