Arts-Crafts Program Offered This Summer in Biddeford
The Biddeford Parks and Recreation Department joins the Maine RISE program to run arts and crafts for disabled children at Clifford Park and May Field. Cathy Matteau will lead classes, with registration Saturday morning at Clifford Park and 1 PM at May Field. A weekly activity schedule will be printed every Monday in the Journal. The text notes use of copper in WWII tanks and ships.

Tennis Lessons Offered at Thornton Academy This Summer

Four Lanes Opened On Turnpike At Kittery Interchange
The Maine State Highway Commission announces opening two lanes each way at the Kittery interchange north of the U S 1 bypass toll bridge. Construction linked to the Piscataqua River Bridge approaches aims to keep four lanes during peak periods this summer. Boston Conservatory guitarist to open Ogunquit Barn Gallery season
Robert Paul Sullivan, chair of the Classical Guitar Department at the New England Conservatory, will present a concert to open the 1972 Barn Gallery program season in Ogunquit.
