Photo Expo 69 draws experts to New York Coliseum exhibit
Irving Desfor reports on Photo Expo 69 the hemisphere's largest photography exposition held in New York City at the Coliseum from June 7 to 15. The event, sponsored by major industry groups, showcased 33 000 experts and a vast array of gear from five theatres to three screen travelogues and aerial photo history. It featured the Universe of Photography theme with professional only sessions and public viewing times, and highlighted notable exhibits from NPPA, White House photographers, PPA, Kodak, and Eastman House. The piece also notes a gallery of prize images and a travelogue exhibit by Kodak Pathe.
