Wells High Prom Lights Up Auditorium With Spring Theme
Wells High School held its junior senior prom in the auditorium last night with the theme These Precious Moments. The hall featured blue and white streamers and silver stars with lilac centerpieces. The grand march was led by the pastor of St. Leo Church in Gonic as he observed a Babe Ruth League game en route. Robert Bridges and Paula Thyng are senior class members. Music was by the Surfsiders including Charles Clark Jr Sam Plaisted Jr Allan Andrews and George York. Faculty guests of honor included Principal Russell K Noyes and several wives. Junior officers led by Wayne Perkins organized the event alongside a prom committee listing multiple students.
