Police say money vanished from armored truck in route
Louis Weiss and Bob Kitchen loaded cash into a Bank of America vault truck Thursday morning and began a 64 hour route unloading money at branches and businesses. At five of 17 stops the truck was left unguarded for two to five minutes, but investigators find no robbery evidence. Authorities check each stop as money remains insured by FDIC and the trucking firm.
