Eight Convicted Gamblers Face Jail in Indiana
TERRE HAUTE Ind AP twelve jurors convicted eight alleged gamblers of conspiracy excise tax evasion and failure to register as a gambling syndicate. Maximum penalties would be 21 years in prison and 50000 fine for each man. U S District Judge Caleb Holder ordered a pre sentence investigation and set sentencing for Sept 10.
