New Jersey Couple Dies In Crash In Maine Route One Saco
A North Arlington New Jersey couple William F McAndrews 66 and his wife Veronica were killed when their car struck a utility pole on Route One in Saco Maine. The crash happened at about 50 mph, both died from chest injuries. Passersby pulled them from the burning car before the pole snapped and power lines fell. The man died en route to Webber Hospital Biddeford and the woman died at the scene. State Trooper Jardine led the investigation with local police and fire units assisting.
