CB Channel Rules and Truckers Use on 23 Frequencies
The FCC allocates 23 CB channels numbered 1 through 23 with single sideband expanding to 69. Channel 9 is the emergency frequency. Channel 11 is the national calling channel. Channel 19 is widely used for traffic reports. Channel 10 sees regional use. Channels 22A and 22B offer semi private use though not FCC authorized.
