Biddeford Man Sentenced to Probation in Break-In Case
In York County Superior Court Norman Dumas of Elm Street Biddeford pleaded guilty to breaking entering and larceny and was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in Thomaston State Prison with all but 90 days suspended. He will serve two years probation after release. Bail defaulted in a speeding case by Arthur J. Lewis. Rodney Anastasoff of Biddeford was found guilty of operating under the influence and fined 175. Joseph Meehan of Old Orchard Beach was found innocent in a jury trial of OUI.

Watermelon Attack Sparks Police Search in Los Angeles
Police hunt for 25 year old Orena Jones after a dispute with OC Henry during which she dropped a 51 pound watermelon from a second story window hitting him. The incident unfolded Sunday in Los Angeles.
