CB radio craze sweeping the country

A nationwide CB radio boom has grown to at least six million sets in use in homes and on vehicles. The Journal begins an eight part series to help new buffs learn about CB. In Trenton Gov Brendan Byrne, flanked by state senators and assemblymen, signed a new state income tax and school funding bill. After ten years of attempts, the legislature enacted the measure to resume public school operations closed June 30 by a state Supreme Court order.
