Death by Own Action Tops Youth Death Causes
In Gainesville Florida AP reports a University of Florida psychologist says death by own action is the second leading cause of death for ages 18 to 25. Dr Wayne Richard notes many cases involve hallucinogen use and crisis center calls run about 30 daily with 200 to 300 active files. About 20 percent of callers are potential personal crisis reports and two thirds of cases are 18 to 25. Americans consumed 118.6 pounds of potatoes per person in 1970.
