Bernard Shapiro of Shapiro Oil Co said a wrecked corner building at Smith and Elm in Biddeford, owned since 1932, may be replaced by a modern Phillips 66 service station. The history hints at a long gone oldest French parochial school once linked to St. Joseph grammar, with local residents recalling Sisters of the Good Shepherd teaching there.
