Rev. Nicholas Dufault of St. Demetrios Parish Biddeford joins the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of New York Holy Cross Special Alumni Committee to aid the Seminary's Economic Development Department. He previously served as assistant dean in Boston and spiritual advisor to GOYA. He and his wife Katherine and daughter Angela reside in Biddeford.

Bishop Demetrios of Boston visited St Demetrios in Biddeford Saco blessing the new year and officiating the Orthros Service and Divine Liturgy. A full parish turnout attended a dinner at Wonder Bar Steak House with clergy parish leaders and society members. The St Fotini Ladies Society hosted a Christmas party for 40 plus children, gifts donated by Mrs Irené Macos, and committees led by Anna Gollaros Angelike Pallas Mary Draggins. The Proskomide bread rite demonstration followed the party along with a holiday duty list for bread preparation.
