Trudeau Appeal Denied On Zoning Board Action In Saco
In Saco a zoning dispute over a club at 561 Main St. saw three residents in favor of the site out of fewer than 20 supporters. On Dec. 12 the Trudeau appeal was unanimously denied by the board. The Dec. 20 city council vote directed the city solicitor to pursue legal steps to uphold the appeals board’s revocation of the permit. Trudeau’s suit in York County Superior Court contends building inspector Rene A. Allie was informed prior to permit issuance and that the board acted without jurisdiction.
