Swamp Buggy Days Draw Crowds To Naples Course
In Naples Florida a bi annual event called Swamp Buggy Days gathers about 8000 spectators for a three day mud filled competition. The figure 8 course winds through cypress swamps with waist deep mud and potholes. Heats judge contestants by power plant drive and driver sex. Prizes last year reached 4500 dollars and the winner earns a victory lap with the Swamp Buggy Queen before being dumped into the ooze.
