A Biddeford High School gym program named Operation Opportunity drew nine of fourteen promised company representatives for interviews with interested students aged mainly high schoolers. About 23 youths attended by 2 p.m. with interest centered on secretarial work and summer jobs. Representatives from Maremont, West Point Pepperell, Keuffel and Esser, Baker Co, Kesslen Shoe, MetLife, and Lund Mfg joined campus officials and chamber staff in guiding attendees through company booths and questionnaires.
