TOKYO AP. The U S Air Force will move 3 500 personnel and 78 aircraft, including its last B57 wing, from Japan to the United States. Officials gave few details while an informed source said additional withdrawals are being negotiated. Initial withdrawals expected by next fall, with 2 000 dependents returning and about 2 400 Japanese employees losing jobs. Army Navy and Marine strength not cut. Total U S forces in Japan 46 000 with 54 000 dependents and 3 000 civilians.
