Freelance writer claims in a national magazine piece that at least 40 episodes of It Could Be You were rigged between 1952 and 1958. Ralph Edwards and NBC deny involvement. Youthful Bully Charged With Extortion Murder

New York police say Edward Vogt, 17, fatally stabbed 14 year old Robert Guitarri, a Christmas tree delivery boy, during an extortion attempt on a West Side building roof. Vogt, with prior court history, was arrested after multiple neighborhood complaints about extortion.
