Roger Red Sevigny, 25, educator at St. Louis High School, was named the Twin Cities outstanding young man of 1968 by the Saco Jaycees. The parents of Arundel resident Katherine Pulkkinen were aboard an Eastern Airlines jet hijacked to Cuba. They and three grandchildren spent hours aboard. the hijacker identified as C Washington threatened the crew with nitroglycerin. The plane diverted from Philadelphia to Cuba, and passengers returned to the U S. The incident marks the fifth straight hijacking to Cuba and the 20th this year.
