Energy Tips For Today
Frozen vegetables may be even cooked in a tightly covered casserole. Use a tablespoon of butter and water plus teaspoon of salt for each 10 oz. package. Cooking time is 40 to 4 minutes for vegetables in small pieces like peas, 55 to 6 minutes for larger pieces like broccoli. Baked goods may go in the oven with roasts and casseroles. Leave an inch and a half of space between pans. The air circulation will prevent the transfer and absorption of dots. Cook more than one item on the same burner by using the top and bottom of a double boiler. For example, heat creamed corn on top of frozen vegetables. Use a small amount of water to cook vegetables. They will cook faster, as well as taste better and contain more vitamins. Use recipes for one dish meals. Make an extra amount of dishes like spaghetti or stews and heat up small portions as needed.
