New Panama Canal Plan Unveiled

President Johnson announces a new sea level Atlantic Pacific canal to replace the Panama passage within 10 to 15 years. Talks with Panama Colombia Nicaragua and possibly Costa Rica will seek sites and a new treaty to end the old canal rights while preserving U S interests.
