Duke of Windsor Undergoes Abdominal Aorta Surgery

The 70-year-old Duke of Windsor received a 67 minute operation at Methodist Hospital in Houston to remove a large blister on the abdominal aorta and replace the weakened section with a Dacron tube. Dr. Michael DeBakey led a team of five physicians and three surgeons. recovery expected to take about three hours in intensive care.
