Premier Joop den Uyl said the government will wait out the Moluc can nationalists holding 25 hostages in the Indonesian consulate just as it did the train hijackers who held 24 people for 12 days. He hoped for an early end to the consulate siege on its 11th day, while denying any concess ion to political demands. The Beilen hijackers surrendered after freezing temperatures and the train engineer and two passengers were killed. Seven hijackers were hospitalized after an explosion. one was charged with murder. Hostages, 17 men and seven women, ranged from a 1 year old to a 72 year old. The two groups demanded Dutch action.

Congress moves to vote on extending this year’s temporary tax cuts through June 30 1976 and on a Democratic energy bill with consumer price relief.
