Rockettes to co sponsor Christmas ball in Saco
The Rockettes club of Saco plans to co sponsor a Christmas ball with the Sub Debs on December 26 at the Biddeford Saco Elks home on Portland Road. The meeting at Judy Jones’s Beach Street home was led by Sally Stoddard and included plans for social hour and refreshments with several members present.

Church Class Holds Annual Seasonal Party
The Sigma Delta class of Biddeford First Universalist Church met at Mrs. John Tarbox in Saco for its December meeting and Christmas party. It voted to furnish two plants for the Christmas worship on December 16 and appointed Miss Eleanor Davis to lead the project. Members collected canned goods for a Christmas basket for a deserving family and Miss Laura Bridgman led an Ingathering service for Christmas stockings to benefit the Clara Barton Diabetic camp in North Oxford, Massachusetts. Jack Tarbox distributed gifts from a decorated tree during social hour and refreshments were served by the hostess. Several members attended, including Mrs. Edmund Beal, Mrs. Harry Mitchell, Miss Jeannette Davis, and others.

Owen-Davis Unit Observes Guest Night At Saco
Owen-Davis unit of the American Legion auxiliary held guest night at the post home in Saco with Legionnaires as special guests at December meeting and Christmas party.
