Harvard students urge longer visiting hours for dorms
An eight member Harvard undergraduate committee says restricting visiting hours for women is ineffective for shaping student morals. They argue extending hours would reduce loneliness and conflicts, noting current rules allow women in from 4 to 7 p.m. on weekdays and limited weekend hours. They propose earlier starts and a 1 a.m. Saturday limit, insisting changes are not moral overhauls but opportunities for healthy relationships and conversation.
