Cmdr. Roger Noble presided at Webber-Lefebvre post meeting in Kennebunk as plans were made for the annual Christmas party at the December 20 gathering. The post seeks donated used toys to repair and distribute to needy families. Membership stood at 72. Atty. Albert W. Emmons was remembered with a moment of silence. Refreshments were served by Leonard Bunnell.

Kennebunk Sets Special Town Meeting For December 18
The Kennebunk Board of Selectmen interviewed two town manager candidates and plans to interview three more on December 13. A special town meeting is scheduled for December 18 at 7 30 p m in the Town hall to consider granting an easement from John Walsh for a six by 180 foot strip at Kennebunk Beach, approving drainage basins and pipe across the easement, and raising 500 dollars for a municipal radio to aid police work due to prior contact issues and rising costs from the enterprise number.
