Donald O Connor Hosts TV Talk Show in Hollywood
Donald O Connor, a former onstage star known for avoiding controversy, now fronts a syndicated television talk show. Metromedia is airing 93 episodes in 30 markets, with six taped weekly through June and possibly beyond. He says learning to express himself on air was hard but necessary, and cites incidents with guests like Joan Baez as evidence of the new, looser format.
