Odds favor cold winter in New England say climatologists

Bus service extended to January 3 in Biddeford area
Public Utilities Commission ordered Biddeford and Saco Bus Lines to delay discontinuation at least until Jan. 3 after municipal officials sought subsidies. Stride agreed to operate through Dec. 17 to allow councils to vote on four month support and for a transportation study likely to seek federal funding. New England Energy Costs May Parity with Sun Belt

Carter Seeks Cabinet, Reassured By Brezhnev On Crisis
