Greece hit by severe earthquake rattles Athens region
A 20 second quake centered 65 miles southwest of Athens shook most of Greece and parts of southern Italy. One man died in Nafplion, nine injured in Naples, and Crete felt shocks. No damage to the Acropolis reported while Bari and Reggio Calabria saw minor cracks. Jacqueline Kennedy was not disturbed in Amalfi Cathedral.
