Capsule Recovery U S Air Force First Space Catch

The U S Air Force celebrates the first aerial recovery of a capsule ejected from an orbiting satellite over Alaska. A C119 Flying Boxcar snagged the 85 pound capsule eight thousand five hundred feet above the Pacific then ferried it to the mainland with three crew aboard. Pair To Face Court For Bank Robbery

Two cousins from Mexico, Archie Hosie aged 24 and Robert J. Allen aged 30, were arrested in connection with a 12530 robbery of the Depositors Trust Co branch in Wilton.
