Earle M. Hillman of Bangor resigned as State Senate president and took oath as a Public Utilities Commission member after Gov. Reed appointed him. Biddeford School Board appoints five teachers
The Biddeford Board of Education named five teachers at a meeting last night. Daniel Beard of Indiana was named mathematics and general science teacher at Biddeford High School. Christine Merrill of Cumberland Center was named home economics teacher at the high school. Mary Chenard of Biddeford was elected second grade teacher at Emery School.
