A 20 year old Michigan man, Steve Landick of Lansing, paddles a 1415 foot kayak from Seaside Oregon to Rockland Maine following historic fur trapping routes. He plans to traverse Columbia headwaters then portage to Saskatchewan tributaries, cross Lake Winnipeg, reach the Great Lakes, and sail the St Lawrence to Quebec before reaching Atlantic waters to finish at Rockland.
