In Kennebunk Lower Village the Annual Lithuanian Day picnic at the Franciscan Monastery will begin with an 11 a.m. Solemn High Mass celebrated by Rev. Janet L. Blanchard, 19, a Waldoboro high school graduate with brown eyes and hair, was crowned Sea Goddess by Gov. Reed at the Maine Seafoods Festival. Chosen from 25 Sea Princesses, she will attend Emerson College in the fall.

Miss Julie Ingalls and Linwood Lincoln Brown Jr. wed at Wilson Memorial Chapel Ocean Point in a 12:30 double ring ceremony. The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. P. Ingalls Bar Mills, wore Beau de Soie with elbow length veil. the groom is son of Mr. and Mrs. Linwood L. Brown Sr. of Saco. They will reside in Garden City New York after September 13 where Brown will teach at St. Paul’s School.
Salvation Army services at Old Orchard Beach will be conducted by Brig. Walter Joyce from Toronto Canada. The holiness meeting begins at 11 a.m. and the salvation meeting at 7 30 p.m. led by Capt. Jack Hoang from Bath.
The Wells selectmen announce a special town meeting on August 15 after discussions with the Wells Beach Fire Department board of directors and members about the duties of drivers in the fire department. The meeting will also decide whether to accept Lower Landing Road for construction if approved.

Guy Sirois of Taunton dined with Kenneth Berdeen in Alewive Kennebunk. Maurice Battler returns to Wilbraham after a week with Donald Pearson family on Parsons Street. Bobby Gibson enlists in U S Army Reserves for six months at Fort Dix. Kennebunk High School graduate class of 1963.
Miss Priscilla L Pare daughter of Mr and Mrs Ernest Pare Biddeford became the bride of Lt Henry S Youd son of Mrs Earl T Youd Bridgeport Conn and the late Mr Youd this morning at Westover Air Force Base Chapel Rev Donald Lonsdale cousin of the bride performed the service at 11 Baskets of gladioli decorated the altar The bride wore a silk organza gown with a bouffant skirt and seed pearl headpiece They left on a motor trip to Canada and will reside in Chicopee Falls Mass The couple will both be stationed at Westover Air Base and plan a nursing career for the bride and a communications role for the groom.
