Youths Blamed For Theft Of Biddeford Cars
Citations were served by Associate Judge Gerald Nason of Biddeford Municipal court this morning on the parents or custodians of four juveniles in connection with a break into a parking lot and the theft of two new automobiles and a registration plate. Two of the youths are from Portland, one from Saco, and one from Biddeford. all are 16. Four other juveniles, ages 13 to 16, were held in custody with no citations issued. Police said the group broke into Ed and Frank Chevrolet on Elm Street, took two new Impala sedans, later recovered at the shooting range near the city dump. keys were found in one car. Hearings set for next Wednesday, August 8, with warrants for absent parents.
