Missing Katahdin Boys Spur Maine Search Effort
In Baxter State Park near Mt Katahdin the 17 year old Robbie Mott and his 3 year old brother Timothy remain missing after vanishing from a family camp. Governor Reed authorizes more state forces and 20 wardens to aid the search as National Guard and volunteers comb the area. Robbie is diabetic and mentally retarded and carves were found in a birch tree but officials warn it may be unrelated. The Motts of Rochester New York are grateful for the help and await word.
