Snow flurries, rain and mixed precipitation chilled the night, with Albany reporting four inches. Southeast rain abated yet flood pressures persisted in Alabama and Mississippi, with the Tallapoosa River threatening Milstead near Montgomery after four inches of rain in 24 hours. King Creek floods closed four Tupelo factories as Mississippi endured over 10 inches of rain in 18 hours, delaying a Minnesota Twins game due to the rare heavy snowfall across North Dakota and the surrounding states.
