Mrs Ella Newby City Funeral Here Saturday
Mrs Ella Newby of Indianapolis died yesterday after a long tuberculosis illness at age 27 years 6 months 22 days. Born January 10 1885 she spent much of her life in Berne and was married to Sylvester Newby June 30 1906. She leaves her husband and parents among others. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the home with interment near the Defenseless Mennonite church west of Berne.

The Indiana Progressive convention in Indianapolis yesterday announced a ticket headed by Governor candidate Albert J. Beveridge with Frederick Landis of Logansport as lieutenant governor and Llorace C. Stilwell of Anderson for secretary of state. A. A. Baker of Monticello would be treasurer and Theodore Shockney of Union City named judge of the fourth district supreme court.
