Illegal Flights Out of Miami Investigated
Federal agents are probing alleged illegal use of large transport planes for passenger and cargo moves from Miami to San Juan and Latin America without proper certification. A FAA team was dispatched to Miami after received reports of multi engined transports operating without proper authorizations.

Abandoned Boy Entered In School for Retarded
A Michigan mother, Mrs Victor Thorne, 44, abandoned her 13 year old son Richard hoping he would be helped by being placed in a school for retarded youths in Miami. Juvenile Judge Ben Sheppard ordered the boy placed in an unidentified Dade County home while the parents return home to Troy Mich. They must cover the institution costs.

Police say a car driven by 14 year old Robert F. Renzi of Grane Avenue overturned after striking a large road stone on Gulf Road in Lanesboro. The eastbound vehicle left the roadway. Renzi was uninjured and faces District Court action troopers said.
