Eclipse and autumn sky guide by John Patterson
The October Berkshire Sky notes a total solar eclipse visible as a narrow band from Newburyport to Worcester with a wider partial eclipse over New England. It lists timings in Eastern Daylight Time and suggests observing sites on the coast or Mt Wachusett, plus warning of sunrise obstruction. It also surveys autumn constellations with Fomalhaut the Solitary One and Cepheus, Cassiopeia, plus Jupiter, Saturn and Venus visibility.
